FIFA World Cup 2018 National Teams List
The curtain over the much awaited 21st quadrennial international FIFA World Cup 2018 will be raised on June 14, 2018, at Moscow. The inaugural match will be played between the hosts, Russia and Saudi Arabia. In all, there will be 64 games played from June 14 to July 15 and the official mascot, Zabivaka, will be welcoming spectators from around the world and cheering on the players.
The world cup is a feast for football fans around the globe and people from different countries eagerly wait for it to begin!
Qualified Countries Table
The excitement for the event has been built over last few months to select 32 qualifying teams. The qualifiers include very seasoned teams like Germany, Brazil and Spain and also countries like Panama and Iceland, which will be debuting this time.
Argentina, the all-time favourite team, almost missed getting through to the qualifying round but for Messi’s last-minute goal that saved them and put them through to the top 32 teams. However, other strong teams like USA and Italy were not that fortunate and couldn’t secure a spot.
